im sry too add they only are for display they dont fly beacuse it would cost to run them and it would be wrth it for just a 1 day event they only galebs , oras and mig 21s and chopper like the gazzelle and mi-8 and i think also russians bring like su-30s and stuff and sometimes mi-24s but i think they always show the mi-24 beacuse it is used by the police.
yeah they r they only come out airshows in serbia but if they get them up and running put a new overhould and hopefully get them smt upgrade not thats modern

Years after the wars of the 1990’s in the former Yugoslavia, the country still faces relative geopolitical isolation as far as defense procurements are involved. Since Yugoslav times, there has been no notable change in Serbia & Montenegro’s arsenal. It is more than certain that in the coming years there is going to be a significant reduction in its armed forces, for economic reasons as well as because of NATO aspirations. In fact, according to a recent report, by 2007 compulsory military service will be phased out as Serbia & Montenegro moves towards a fully professional army.
However, there hasn’t been much news regarding new procurement, except perhaps for a procurement scandal that shook up the Serbian defense ministry this year. But Serbia, once a great military producer as the major industrial republic of the former Yugoslavia, may well seek to again manufacture what armaments it can domestically. It is assumed that production capacity has been mended following the heavy damage inflicted by NATO in its 1999 bombing campaign. With its existing defense facilities and factories, Serbia & Montenegro is capable of producing a wide range of ammunitions, electronics, anti-armor and anti-aircraft missiles.
The estimated total size of the army of Serbia & Montenegro is 55,000 personnel. This includes non-combat units, paramedics, telecommunication, civil and aircraft defence battalions and units of virtual mobilization, usually situated in the countryside.
Of this total, 28,000 soldiers are on constant active duty. The Serbian army has a unique and quite effective mobilization scheme, in which the armed forces are composed of a three-part force designed for quick mobilization in time of need. The active units are always on call; they are followed by secondary ones, and finally reserves who keep their weaponry and uniforms at home. In a time of total mobilization, they can all appear in the units to which they were originally assigned at the time of their compulsory military service. This is a non-centralized structure very flexible for small states. Similar systems operate in Switzerland and Cyprus.
ofcourse we didnt win them but ur airforce wat is it like a biggest dump is a airplane dump yard u could do better plus we were vrsing more then 400 aircraft of the latest f-16s and lots more nad if they invade u wat could u do defnd ur self nothing wat mig 15 that 50s aircraft and id watch u would of been our 7th state when was last shot down aircraft 1956 yeah thats real good man and also ur going to use mig 15 or 17 for tranning use the mig 21 or f-7 get ur pilots at least some supersonic tranning a lot better then a mig 15 used in korean war dame thats old wat about ur ground tropps u guys have nothing maybe aks yeah that real good we have freaken m-84s the updated version that has a shorta u could do crap all to the tank with a laser guided missle. u guys also think those migs u got going to do anyhting to us a get some proper bunkers for once that wat u have man that must of cost 2 bucks ohh yes also during the nato invasion who brought down the f-117a stealf air craft wow real stealf and also the b-2bomber has russia anything i guess not we got mig 29s for free and also we got 11 tamar anti stealf radars by the russians for free and got us will protect u wat will ur new f-16s going to do to the anti stealf radars these r radars cost 100 million each imagine wat kind of comtion is a f-16 so little for it and also serbia is buy s-300s u go us yeah and ur army is really modern wat russian t-55 that that 60s era and also i read defence budget for 2004 and 2005 is 700million for serbia u guys also for ur navy dont even have subs wow eu has real tranined also russia has and their in nato they dont wont beacuse they dont have to be controoled buy some stupid americans i would like see and hope serbia goes for the russians man how much does the standard have to be and also in 2010 when u get ur jets serbia is buy there and new army of wepons and jets and defecne so u wont have better jets then us by then k.
wat i think is mig 23ml is better and the plane does not matter about how ugly is it u can buy an ugly plane but i can be really good but its always up to the pilot americans ussulay win they have good eltronics and pilots its always comes down to the pilot.
virage if u watch russian new and know russian u see on the news on wat they have been spending and they have been lanuching new projects for new aircraft and but russia is not any more a communist state that it use to spend all of it money on the army to prepapre for war.
hi i think the russian air force is not in deep crises i have not read all the threads but if u look at it now i have at home sattlite tv and i watch russia news if u look at i now russia has payed off alll it debt and if un is going to a put a ban on iran for exporting goods iran is 4 th biggest exporteer of gas and oil they say if that happes 1 barrel will cost 100us nealy double wat is now at 60 us dollara a barrel so russia is the biggest etxporter of oil and money is right now flodding in to them so they have money to fun dlots of stuff now they have massive pipelines trough asia and eourope and middle east and the us are one of the biggest buyers that buy the most oil so they are oredering massive ammonts of oils so it means that Russia will have lots money to spend on the army and airforce and navy and also lots of other projects.
and also i fogot to mansion this will only do for air u can go buy ur self some scud missiles they get a good range of 500km – 1000km and enven less.
hi if u wont know the future of ur airforce wot i thing u should buy some new air craft but not too many and some choppers but if u wont a good defece u should get some sam’s they r cheapeir not too expinsive to run and if u r thingking the serbia will invade i dought that and if they do they have better pilots then u guys so its easier to figher a missile at an aircraft then get a 30million dollar aircraft destroyed or a pilot dead also so its easier to have more sams then jets but a couple of new modern air craft and choopers and buy some for ur gorund troops stinger missles or some kind anti-aircraft portabale launchers.
