Very good day, thought the event was much “busier” this time – much more going on around the place in general. Good to see Canberra WT333 getting an outing as well, even if it was just a engine run-up. Hooray for whoever decided to move the food stands as well – much better location. Treacherous hazy sunshine mind, looking very much like a swan vesta this evening……. 😮

The Jungmann is in the BoB hall and (if I remember correctly) is there to illustrate the types of trainers being used by Germany in the war. An authentic airframe was a non-starter so they went for the next best representation. I quite like the Merlin prototype, but then i’m quite strange………;)

Was suprisingly good actually, nice footage of the development of the three contenders for the “America Bomber” as it was termed.

I’m no great fan of BA, but would have to ask if everything you read in the Daily Mail is to be believed….? Journalists have been known to make things up! (SHOCK HORROR!)

you can pick up a DVD recorder for 200 notes at a major supermarket right now! As for upgrading from VHS, it’s not really a case of “if” but “when”. As soon as DVD recorders go below a hundred pounds its all over for VHS

I had a look round her about 3 years ago and she looked rough then. Much as I wish it was otherwise I can see this particular airframe heading for the scrapper within 5 years. Anyone know if the NEAM has any plans to prove me wrong?

It may have just been my grit-obscured eyesight, but i’m fairly sure the hunter actually DID leave the ground on it’s second race with the M3! Anyway a cracking day (but so very, very cold), have to agree about the food vans though – everytime i’ve been I have ended up playing the “can I get a burger before the next taxi run” game. Great pictures StevieB, if any of mine are half decent i’ll post them up later in the week.

“Pretty Woman”, the Julia Roberts/Richard Gere vehicle, ‘cos hey, it’s ok to be a prostitute because someday the american gigolo will come along & take you off into the sunset – oh please.

Anything starring Adam Sandler – he actually gets paid for those films you know.

Any “saddle my horse, I ride for York forthwith” type costume drama cobblers
