    Go on then I`l say it… I dont think so but it was still a good airliner :rolleyes:

    The two seater was fitted with fly by wire controls while with the R.A.E.
    Fly by wire and a delta wing.. Well it worked for the Mirage.

    Are you sure, I think they were Hastings wings found still in crates.

    Outboard wings I would guess as one of the Hastings wings is painted up in camo and on a Queen Mary at Elvington.

    We’re very sorry to have to announce the XH558 won’t be flying to Cottesmore and Lowestoft today. A scheduled out-of-phase inspection of the landing gear doors has found a bent bracket, which needs to be replaced. This work is now proceeding, and it is hoped it will be completed in time for Saturday’s displays.

    More problems today. Hopefully everything will be ok for Sunderland this weekend.

    Is there any way to find out the route the Vulcan will take to Sunderland. I guess what I am realy asking is will I be able to see it over Howden as I have seen the Apache/Lynx team and Stearman team on there way up today.

    I have only been to RIAT once about 6/7 years ago. It is a good place to see the `big stuff`, B52, B1 B ect. but was not worth queing all day on the Sat (not getting in) and Sun morning. There was nothing there I had not seen at Mildenhall wich was much cheaper and a far better show. Probably the best show I have ever been to.

    what do we think is the best show now from an enthusiasts point of view (not including Legends) ?
