I understand aircraft can not be parked on the grass. Last year The Vulcan was parked on a taxi way with barriers around to give public access and access to the runway. I think it was up near the Air Warfare building in front of the B52.

A pass along the display line with a slight bank for good photographs is not in my opinion a major display manouver.

What about the static display aircraft flying in on the Saturday parking as static displays on the crowd line (where the Vulcan was parked last year) and flying out on the Sunday.

Operational aircraft like the Nimrod and Sentry making a flypast instead of just landing.

I understand crews are not display authorised but but a flypast with a nice top side view could be done.

I hope the display director comes back to the forum to discuss the show.

Any body know where they are going or did they here I was still on the coach during their Wado display and call in just for me.

It is inexscusable but the dog handler will have to live with it for the rest of his life and I fear for his sake will be made an example of rather than have the incedent brushed under the carpet.

The only good thing that has come from this is the wide spread media coverage could prevent events like this happening all over the country.

Waddington will be packed today. It took us around three hrs to get in once in the Lincoln area yesterday. Anybody who had a pre payed ticket and turned around yesterday can use it today as far as I know. Maybe the people using their Saturday tickets against people put off by the Vulcan may even things out.

I got into the airfield around 14.00 . Dont get me wrong I am not blaming the organisers. The lesson is even if you do get a good deal on a coach trip they are not so keen on getting out of bed on a morning so these things will happen. Plus the weather was excellent it was all ways going to busy !

Once in there was a lot to see. Like people have mentioned already there were aircraft in the static we would like to have seen in the air. The German Phantom, LN F15 ect.

Display of the day for me were the Strike Master team, and the Typhoon was as impressive as ever.

Looking forward to seeing XH558 this weekend. Hoping everything goes to plan and its not a fast taxi like last year.
