    BBMF Dakota flying west along M62 past Howden this afternoon (25,05,09).

    I guess it might have been calling in at Sherburn, they had a fly in today. I only found out when I got to Breighton and everything had gone there.

    If any one has pics from Sherburn please post them on the forum. Davski ?

    Hi Thorny. Thank you for sharing. Any more ? I realy should make the effort its only up the road.

    I see the Gannet is out side and has both props on now. I wonder how far it is from running.

    Shame its not the shark mouthed Aussie MKVIII but I would have gone for JE J too if it were mine.

    What team uses four yellow, mono plane , aerobatic aircraft. They just flew over Howden.

    (just imagine how much of a pain I would be if I lived near Duxford)

    Hearing strange a engine sound over head early yesterday evening I went to the window to see the very nice but strange sight of the Dr1 and Majister trundling over Howden together. The Tri Dr1 looking very nice in its new colours.

    Its so nice to be back in Howden, being entertained by the Breighton aircraft.

    What fantastic welcome guys ! :rolleyes:

    Somebody new comes to the forum with an interesting thread and you treat them like this. Then wonder why they dont reply.

    He/She does not know anybody here or how long they have been a member. As a new member probably never noticed what information was at the top of peoples posts.

    An explanation of the joke might have been more appropriate.

    I would not normaly get involved in this kind of thing (which happens all to often in a place where we are all supposed to have a common interest) but as the the thread is all ready ruined, why not.

    A couple of thank you`s

    1st The Harvard pilot from Breighton for keeping me entertained while waiting for a bus last week

    2nd The RAF for the Harrier (x2) flypast just for me on my birthday. I was just about to go down the last zip line at `GO Ape` (Dalby Forest) when they popped up over the hill, came screaming over the valley we were in, flipped on there back and dissapeared into the next valley.

    I hope Elvington are working on getting one of these, would look nice alongside the Halifax and Mosquitoe.
    Then all they need are the Stirling and Whitley projects.

    After all we are the Real Bomber County 🙂

    Anybody know how to get a part as an extra.

    Davski this maybe one for you.
    Four Extra or similar aerobatic aircraft in formation heading your way over Howden at about 11.00 this morning.
    I heard another formation of piston aircraft about 13.00. Unfortunatley I was partaking in a swift half at the time so I did not see them.
    Couple of hours later, two Hawks in loose formation quite low heading back our way.
    Have you had something on at Breighton today, or maybe it was Elvington.
