A few aerodynamic problems caused probably through misinforming spies and the lack of the technology to control air flow into the engine intakes is all that held this aircraft back.
    Fantastic aeroplane.

    IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2009

The Wings Museum is currently relocating after the Aerodrome indicated that the hanger would be required in the near future for commercial flying operations. The museum will utilise this opportunity to complete phase 2 and will reopen as soon as possible bigger and better than before! Further announcements will made on this website.

We apologise for any disappointment and would like thank the public for their extremely positive feedback on the museum during the 2008 open season. To view what our visitors say please click here.

The above is taken from the web site, have you heard something different ?

How much will all these letters cost ? Most people who have pledged will pay any way and those that wont will not be convinced by a letter.

I was hoping to pay that way too.

I thought Duxford was going to have even better staff soon but its been a while and no reply to my application. Oh well !

On the subject of Hendon. I visited for the first time last year and cant get involved in this discussion because I was so in amazed by the aircraft collection I never noticed anything bad.

You no what it may need a lick of paint here and there but thats some collection.

I would have it in my garden just like that, and before you judge me think about how many times you have looked at the scrap yard thread.
