[QUOTE=zoot horn rollo;1298291]There are a number of oddities in the China Aviation Museum museum already (the “Mosquito” being one and the home built “Apache” helicopter being another) so a Spitfire wouldn’t be much difference.

I have not seen any photographs of the Mosquito and Apache, do you have any ?

How did they they get a Harrier ?

I expected to see this spit flying. Shame.

If what you want to do with your life is get hands on with aircraft then a uni course is pretty much useless, get an apprenticeship instead. If you want to sit behind a desk and pontificate about how great you are and how you’d maintain aircraft without actually having touched one then a uni degree is fantastic for making you look good.

I am looking forward to my Aviation Management Degree.

Keeping my hands clean, and maybe a little pontificating about how good I am.:):):):):):):)

And of course the nation is left wanting for a dedicated Coastal Command/maritime collection (Nimrod, Shackleton, Neptune, Lancaster, Sunderland etc), maybe this one day could be housed at Cosford.

    And a B17 ! I love Costal Command colours.
Move out the b17 in the Bomber Command Hall and make a Stirling shaped space.

Maybe this just meens `Dont sell it to anybody who might use it against` in a USAF/USN paranoid kind of way.

Was it really necessary to use the quote function and copy all the photographs. What was the point.

I think you might find the same thing on a few other airshow threads. Pain in the ar*e !

Im with you here. A real Spitfire has a low back, Griffon and 5 blade prop. Oh and maybe clipped wings. oh and maybe cannon. Come to think of it I like the bigger verticle stabiliser and rudder as well.
There is a reason the late marks look like that. Because they are better. 🙂
