Thank you TEEJ. Amazing pics as always.
I made it today 3rd time lucky but only just. She was just holding for the two Typhoons when I jumped off the bus. Four hours traveling for less than four minutes flying. Worth every second ! ! !

PS did you get any of the Buchon flying in this afternoon. I got a couple on the ground.
Anybody know what its doing there ? The BBMF guide did not.

    Hi all.
I am going to (at the risk of losing my job) have another go tomorrow.
Does anybody have any times for test flights/departure.

    Cheers.

Thank you for letting us know.
Now what am I to do with the day I booked off.:) 🙁 🙂

Having no luck this week. Tryd to get to Coningsby on Wednesday. Got as far as Doncaster then all services going south were canceld.

Maybe we might see her on the 25th at Bruntingthorpe. Maybe I’m clutching at straws but I,m running out of time now. Start basic in a few weeks.

More pics please from anybody who has or will be there this week.

Thank you for your help. As I am traveling to Lincoln by train, bus to Conningsby then the rest on foot. I wont be able to visit all those spots. Think I will make straight for the BBMF and then go from there. Who knows they might even park the Vulcan next to the Lanc. What a picture that would be. So if anybody else is going say hi. I’m the young blonde lad looking lost.

I love the hunter. One side complete the other allowing people to see how it works. Surley thats what museum exhibits are all about.

I am also hoping to visit soon. With the exhibition of human bodys there at the moment, should be a good day out.

Hi Nashio. Can you put a picture of them up here. Never Noticed the real Phantom. Good job I dont work in recon. It must be the one that Elvington and North East Air Museum have been after. It has to be scrapped under a Disarmament treaty.
I have been thinking, maybe they were painted silloets to fool satelites that have been removed.

Any one got any news ? G-TEMT must be getting close. I have just been reading the Tempest site. Looks like there is some hope of an airworthy Tempest in America too, tho I hope it does not get the unlimited treatment.
    maybe I do, I`m not sure !

sorry for going off topic. Just one more question. Is the recovery cost a big factor in £750k or does the history have a big effect on price. And If this is so. If you restored the aircraft to airworthy status. This would actually devalue the aircraft through the loss of authenticity in the rebuild.

Thats a fantastic site thank you for sharing. I have just been looking at the 109 in the above link. It would make great time capsule, static display. What sort of prices are you looking at for a 109 in this condition.
