Classic scheme but not transport command.
Do you have time and place where the Lancaster will cross the coast line on its way home. It would make a great picture.
Hi Dave. Do you know if any museum or collector has their eye on this. Looks like there are some quite substantial parts there. The cockpit alone would make a great display. Thanks for sharing.
Ben.
Nice pics Davski, did you get through to York to see if anything was happening there.
Sorry you could not make it Quinny, but plenty more chances to see them this year.
BBMF Hurri and Spit over Snaith, East Yorks, 12.45. Very nice, short but sweet routine of wide turns and passes.
Cheers mate. I like the scheme alot and it should stick out a mile among UK spits. I hope Graham is pleased too. Iam not sure if I would have let some body else choose. Any way cant wait to try it out for size. 🙂

Sorry for going off thread. Quinny, I will check the local rag on thursday. Hopefully there will be some info. Will post if I find any thing.
Would you mind giving a time for the Snaith fly past this weekend. I am searching the net at the moment to see if there is an event on, but cant find any thing. Will any body else be there ?
All glossy black small business type jet at roof top level across Goole 14.15 heading east. Looked a lot like the aircraft that work on contract with the Hunters. Are they on the east coast ranges today ?
Morning all. I think I have just seen an Andover Fly over my house. Twin turbo prop with blue under, White sides and red verticle stabiliser. I think there is one at Finingley (Doncaster, Sheffield, Robin Hood blah blah ect.) But As far as I know this ones for ground instruction. Any way, flying north west, 10.05, over Goole, East Yorkshire.
What parts does Kirmit Weeks have ? The tale section is at Aeroventure and as far as I know the parts wich were at Sandtoft were also from this aircraft. Any body got some history and pics. There is a lot of info in the Strathallen collection guide book wich I have unfortunately sold. Any one got one ?
Any more info. Where was the dig, where is it now ect.
