Hi Simon. I`m sorry I cant help but I would like to see some pisc of your projects please.
Called in to have a look today. The aircraft in my uneducated opinion looks in good condition. Some bits and bobs missing, few pieces lying around on the ground. From talking to people there (who by the way were very friendly and helpfull) there are plans to restore the aircraft to a presentable condition. So looks like its staying above water. And why not, its clearly visable from the road and a great draw I am told. I even looked into a basic diving course my self. Took a few pics, but no data cable for phone, sorry:(
Hi Daniel. May 6th is my birthday so may treat my self. Do you have a list of aircraft on display. Cheers .
Ben.
Sorry my mistake. Competion ends 10th of April, I was thinking of the prize day.
I think you should pick the Glen Cooper scheme:) 🙂 🙂
Hurry up ! I want her ready for the 10th:)
Hi
If you only after a light aircraft or small civil helicopter, try Dave Almey at Sky-Craft near Spalding. He had R-22 helicopters and light single fuselages for around £150, his e-mail address is dave@sky-craft.co.uk
Is there a web site, I am only intrested and dont want to waste his time with E mails. Wich spalding are you talking about. Cheers. Ben.
Had a drive through to Hull yesterday to have a look at the Hunter. Forgot my camera 😡 . Looks like who ever smashed the canopy had it away with the pilot. So maybe coming to an auction site near you. Unless some body involved is keeping it safe. Any news on this ?
Thank you again everybody. Some great pics. I look forward to showing you the display when complete. Or better still come visit us at Aeroventure.
Thank you every one.
Albert I have sent you a pm..
I dont know if Fort Paull could afford or even if they would be intrested, but if they did it would obviosly not be the first time they have saved a piece of our local history. I think the Hunter relative to the Beverley would be much easier to clean perserve ect. Lets not forget it is not so far from the water at the moment.
As for Hunters in T2`s, how many are under cover ? I think Hunters for want of a better discription are small colection type aircraft and usually live out side.
It`s funny how when theses local storys appear on the forum we realise there are other members in our area.

Some space here, and not much of a journey either !
(sorry about pic size)
Although I can not help financially, if anybody does have plans to keep the aircraft in the area, please let me know. I would love to be involved in some way. I will miss bringing the traffic down to a crawl as I pass 🙂 .
Harvard right over the top of my house (Goole east Yorkshire) about five minutes ago. Not sure if it was blue but I would guess so. Heading south east with light aircraft in tow.
