    Thanks Deank. I have checked this web site. There is a lot of information but no pics from the promenade site.

    Can any one give informatin about the Lightnings and Starfighter that are some where in the Grimsby area (farm?). I have looked at a lot of web sites but most seem to be out of date. Its not far for me and would like to visit maybe get involved.

    Any one know why a lone Red Arrows Hawk was trailing blue smoke round Howden (East Yorks) yesterday afternoon.

    The Barnes Wallis is a very nice pub with excellent food. Lots of pictures from local war time bases. well worth a visit. The connection is the local airship station.

    Is this the Halifax that crashed near Howden train station, running out of fuel just short of Breighton. If so there is some information in the local pub (The Barnes Wallis). I could get you this information if you wish, or you could contact Elvington as this is where the info comes from.

    Thank you Flood. Unfortunately the original is not much better quality. It does say Royal Canadian Air Force on the aircraft. Luckily the serials are written on the back, but no date or location. Any guesses at the aircraft in the background.

    Sorry to drop this in the middle of your thread but I could not find any where more appropriate.

    Can any body identify this location and what happend to the aircraft ? the serial Numbers are Kn291 and KP221.

    Italian Harvard. Thought my ears were burning 🙂 . Wont be at Sywell but might be at Breighton this sat. Might be a few pics, dont know yet.

    Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington. Just took the pics while passing this afternoon. There were no people around while I was there. More info in this months Flypast.
