I am going to really enjoy following this, thank you for sharing.
It is not a big distance to do in one day, I would quite happily walk twice that up and down hill for fun. The thing is though, it is not one day, it is five days a week, every week. I did it for a company a few years ago and it is hard work. If you could get hold of a few clock cards that told the computer you were sweeping up, you might hit your target now and again …. or have time to sneak off for a cigarette 🙂 I have a mate who does exactly the same as was shown at Amazon but for ASOS. He is a blokes bloke (for want of a better description) but still has his feet in a foot spar as soon as he gets home and uses all kinds of creams for blistered feet. it is a lot of work for not a ot of money.
On the OP I have to agree with the Plug Meister, he of all people knows about these things 🙂

This has been a big talking point at our car meet today and I guess at others around the world. I think maybe the death of Paul Walker in this way saved a few lives today. Though it will soon be forgotten and those same people will still run out of talent at some point and proceed directly to the scene of their own fiery death to the shout of “V-tech kicked in yo !”
Regarding the the picture, if it is the one I have seen, it not only looks nothing like him, it looks nothing like I would expect a person to look after this particular accident. I will not link to pictures of the crash but in brief the car was split in half and and consumed by fire.

I think you could be right about that; I’m using the same tyres on the same roads as I’ve been using for the last few years and it is so markedly different this year…
…plus I can slide down a tarmac road in my walking boots…..that’s not right!
In regards to the OP I agree with this being the reason, it is particularly bad at junctions ….. but I think the big news in this thread is Lincoln de-cating and fitting an induction kit… boy racer ! 😉 I will soon be getting Uniroyal RainSport 2 tyres, I dont fancy risking it on the mismatching budget tyres this winter.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for the great write up and photos.
Could you repost your photos using photbucket so we can see them a little bigger please.
A great story and videos.
It would not have been if that lad did not get out from between the forks ! (3.30 in the first video)
Hope that works out for you B-17man, not just for the money but because your work deserves to be seen.
I look forward to seeing it at Cockpit Fest next year.
but the main one is that I just feel I have nothing of value to contribute anymore.
I hope this is not because I now use Google Chrome with spell check Kev ???? 😉
Did Loughborough University get a single seat Hawk to replace the EAP ?
Any pictures of the EAP at Cosford ? I imagine it looks great with the other experimental aircraft, bringing the collection right up to date.
This really is amazing.
Any chance you could get a little bit of the five hundred million budget for the new HBO series ? That would help move the project along 😮
I was looking for a recent and relevant thread to post about the progress of Kermit Weeks Tempest, when I came across this thread in the search. I have to agree with some of the posts above, facebook is great for up to date aviation news and actually talking to people involved. Even if Mr Weeks did not give me a job at Fantasy of Flight 😮
Any way for those who do use facebook – it looks like the Tempest V wings are getting there and will be reattached to the fuselage soon https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=572818276120589&set=a.572818222787261.1073742050.271937182875368&type=1&theater
