    I also experimented with Scalextric motors with similar results. Prop blades do sting 😀
    A few kits have also met their fate strapped to bottle rockets:D

    Far to grown up for all that now though :rolleyes: What to do with this old

    From the latest email –

    Central to our goals, will be establishing a permanent Home Base for the Aircraft where we can provide easy public access and build up additional commercial activities. All this will also open doors for our Educational aspirations and enable expansion into organised visits from schools all around the country. Discussions on this continue, and we will bring you news of any developments just as soon as we can.

    Any ideas, is Finningley still in the running ?

    We could cut over seas aid instead of doubling it but this is not the place to disscuss it.
    It will be interesting to see what happens to these new aircraft. I cant see the MOD letting museums have more modern aircraft than them. So do we get Rivet Joint or not ?

    £8 for the 1 72 YB-49. I should have got him down a bit but I had to have it before Blue2 :rolleyes: Shame about the Thud but it saved me a few quid 🙂

    It has been a few years since my last visit to Duxford. There seems to be a lot of empty hangar space at the moment. Definitely space for an F-14 now 😡

    Actually it’s going for a trundle with the Blades on the 8th of October, should have been tomorrow but the weather has ******d that up.

    SMS88 – I am regreting not buying the Israeli set myself. Blue2 got him self a nice bf110 from the same stall. I came away with a nice 1 72 YB-49.

    Blue2 – I need to find a cable for the camera before I can get the pics up. It seems that Kodak dont only not use SD cards they also dont use standard USB Cables.
