Grey, grey and more grey. How boring are aircraft colour schemes these days. Those stars and bars on the Hercules look awful aswell.

A successfull weekend all round and quite a few smiles.

Friday- My girlfriend Graduated (and has been offered all the Masters courses she applied for) , good day out in Scarborough including Champagne, wine, larger and a good meal. 🙂

Saturday – A good day out in Hornsea and not giving blue2 his money back (again) 😀 Yes Blue2 I believe you saw a Seaking now, it landed on the beach in front of me while I was eating my Sullivans fish and chips. 🙂

Sunday – A good day at Howden Show. Jo Jo (my GSD) won her class and was over all champion of the show (see this weeks Goole Times for pics 😀 )
I got a 2nd in the photography competition for my Ibiza sunset (the one in the non aviation pic thread) Thank you to PMN for helping me with that. 🙂

All is back to normal tomorrow. Job Centre, tour of the agencies for work, rewrite the Uni assignment I failed. :rolleyes:

So not to go to much off topic here the short version is I dont realy know. I asked here years ago and it seems the aircraft moved on from Cleethorpes to become the Bomber County Museum. Which is now also closed. I have a picture of me at about two years old sat on the wing of (I think) a Vampire but I have not seen this pic for a long time. Need to get into the parents photo albums to check.

Lincoln you will have the sympathies of many on the forum even if we do not know what to say some times.

Blue, Cleethorpes aint that bad. Go have a look in the shop behind the library. The one with radios, missiles and aircraft parts in the window. I have never seen that shop open. Chippy at top of the hill opposite the pier anint bad.
Did you ever visit the aircraft collection at what is now Pleasure Island ?
