I went inside that at Pontefract park about 20 years ago, a lot better than that trailer with a Nimrod painted on they use now 🙂
Who will be at Elvington ?
Edit – Thank you for the pic. Get that on a North Sea ferry and down to Cockpit Fest:)
Must make sure I’m on local work on the 13th then, for when 250 appears at Elvington…
Blue 2 – I will try to be there too, bring me a Sullivans fish and chips please 🙂
Ben
richb – Some of the different coloured panels could be interchanged between aircraft but most of the green is anti abrasion.
Breighton Harvard around Howden this aft.
Anybody see last weeks QI, there was a story of a U-boat caused to come to the surface when an overflowing toilet reacted with the batteries, filling it with Clorine gas.
The U-boat was then sunk by an aircraft.
Its a great program, for all the jokes there is usually hard facts behind them. They did mention names and the number but I can not remember.
Anybody know this story.
Turns out it was fishing for Typhoon pilots.
6 squadron, Coningsby.
Saw them in the chippy after. I thought they were only fed on super human man pills 🙂
I will try to upload a pic when I get home. He made some realy good passes for us. Around the bay, castle and harbor. Shame my camera is 😡
Ben
Seaking out in Scarborough bay now. Looks like winch practice.

Did somebody once mention on here that the cost in electricity was prohibitive in the operation of the Victor sim or have I just made that up.
Oh well, plenty more chances.
On the train now to Scarborough now so it will be Tucano, Tucano, another Tucano. I dont get bord of them though, I learnt that lesson when the JP`s stopped coming over !
Luckily we get to see the odd one coming out of Church Fenton.
