I believe, for those who questioned why a 744 was used, that BA will be swopping the 777 for the 744 on its LGW-MCO flights.

That’s amazing. If you fly Business from Delhi, go Virgin. Their business is AMAZING. Massages, a bar, an IFE with over 50 movies, 100 CDs, games, a satellite phone, fax and PC powerpoint, limos at either end, DEHILIcious foods :p , and the biggest flat bed in business class in the world – the Virgin Upper Class Suite.

In fact, VS only put their new business class product in place in 2000. Already its being replaced. The old one J2000, has been ripped off by Lufthansa. Lufthansa’s new one is a complete rip-off of VS’s OLD one. Don’t fly LH!

I am sure I have heard/read somewhere that the first flight will be by Singapore from SIN to LHR, and app SIN confirmed it. I don’t where I have this knowledge from, but, I know I told someone the other day that this was the case and I seem to think it, so I must have heard/read it somewhere?! :p

It is pathetic. You all just want to get one over the other. It’s like a playground.

    Shamrock,

Most passengers can get off a flight and tell you of some problem. Ive flown them 3 times and all 3 times had problems.

Worst was DUB to BHX on a 732 when we did a steep 90 degree right turn because the TCAS went off. To top that they used the handbrake to stop on the runway (throwing an anchor out would have stopped used quicker)

Just because you live in Dublin you think Ryanair are the dogs whatsits. How many times have YOU flown on them??

Another example on a ryanair flight from Dublin was we were behind a CO767 (i think) and atc told us to follow behind (i was listening on my scanner). Then our cpt decides he didnt want to wait ang longer and used a parallel taxiway to overtake the aircraft and then atc gave me clearance to get rid of him to take off during the takeoff roll the cpt had already started. He only asked for clearence AFTER putting the engines up to take off power.

That was my last ryanair flight EVER.

Personally i call easyJet squeasyjet and sleazyjet as an affection thing lol cos i like them so much. bit like when my friend walter calls me a muppet but i know he doesnt mean it…..

I agree with you. I will NEVER fly with Ryanair. I value my safety above a few pounds.

    not quite correct.

There was a “Maiden tokyo”, reg was G-TKYO
Then “Maiden Toulouse”, reg G-VAEL, A340-300, of course, now we also have “Mystic Maiden”, reg G-VMEG, an A340-600.
“Maid Of Honour” (G-VRGN, B747-200) comes close too.

Unfortunately, I cannot find a “Miami Maiden” Perhaps it was an aircraft on temporary lease and not a firm member of the VS fleet.

    Your not quite correct either.

    Maiden Toyko was registered G-VAIR

Maiden Japan (747-200) was registered G-TKYO

Ryanair arnt goin to get banned from Belgian airspace because they dont have a good reason to do so only because he told tohem to **** of nothing to do with safety.Ryanair wouldnt be Ryanair with Michael O Leary.Hes heartless and most importantly very very succesful.

They have got a good reason…he won’t pay them back.
Also, how many people other than aviation enthusiasts know of O’Leary. Hardly anyone, in fact I didn’t know who he was till a couple of months ago.

Sir Richard Branson – now there is a successful man. Known world over. Worth billions.

Also, SHAMROCK, more people know who Stelios is than arrogant O’Leary! – I know I am easyJet biased, but people know more about them than Ryanair.

I hope the Belgian government impounds a plane. When he comes to collect it they can say ‘f**k off!’
