With all due respect, this cavalier attitude to the possibility of a conflict between two nuclear armed states with questionable early warning systems along with relatively poor command and control capabilities is a little flippant.

Any sane individual will not wish that these two states ever come to blows again. The possibility of an escalation into a nighmare scenario is way too scary to contemplate if you ask me. Both sides have competent professional military institutions and any conflict will be bloody in the extreme.

I wonder how many of you will call for restraint when terrorism comes home calling ? Like it does regularly in India ?

I really think my country will not restrain itself and is willing to pay the price of a final war with Pakistan in case of further attacks.

Hezbollah still embarass Israel on a daily basis. Hezbollah still openly uses the Heil Hitler salute as their standard salutation.
The following photo looks like something from 1930’s Nazi Germany.

Close to 1000 youngsters aged 10-15, members of the terrorist group Hezbollah, make the Nazi salute on December 14, 2001 during a demonstration for “Jerusalem Day.” One can see, just a few yards behind them, the city of Metula, in the north of Israel.

In India, I find the salute of the Extreme-Hindu RSS quite similar although not identical. It seems people with fascist agendas have the same salutes everywhere.

Then again if its within the rules of these states i guess its ok. For eg. Holocaust denial is a crime in many European countries while its protected in U.S under the first Amendment.

The Solution of the problem between Hamas and Israel or Hizbollah and Israel lies in the relationship with Iran. Unless Iran and Israel engage in dialogue these things won’t be and can’t be solved.

Iranians are under Hardliners now, when the moderates take power there, Israel will be under hardliners like Netanyahu.

A lame excuse to shift responsebility to stay polite. The events around Gaza did not unfold over night. All people there were aware, what is going around them.

Most Western Journalists from Liberal media have commented that the Israeli barracding is Humiliating for the native people. To be honest where is the two state solution now ?

The Onus is on Israel to sort out the issues, its hand is getting weaker as the Arab-Persian hand is becoming stronger as time goes by

Yes we all agree that several big cities will be used. Bussinesses will have to be rebuilt. But then again we can use the additional resources from the plains of Punjab. the city of Karachi etc. The torubled NWFP can be part of Afghanistan.

Or yet we can have peace and co-exist as it is 😉

Your comments remind me of the terrorists who tried to justify 9-11 saying you voted for Bush/Clinton etc. It is a common excuse that is used by everyone. Attack on civilians is barbaric, the only distinction one can get is that, Israel targets terrorists and soldiers and civilians are killed accidentally while the terrorists are indiscriminate.
