I want to know what was the French take on the Red Flag briefing video that was out on the internet. Where the Colonel was very critical of the French and somewhat about the Indians. It has caused a lot of issues and disecting in this very forum.

He made one particular comment that the French sent the Rafale only to collect information using their advanced sensors

I made the same point before in this very post that people who voted share some collective responsibility. But that do not justify the killing of children who are too young to vote, And not all people who are killed voted for Hamas either.

To sum up neither Hamas nor Israel cares about the civilians on either side.

I told you that post is still relevant when it comes to real enemies :dev2:. Pakistan is, let’s say not in our league anymore.

Oh no i do not want war anymore than you do. Its just the hypothesis that PAF stands a chance, like always it will stop giving airsupport and save itself.

Throughout history war waging countires have always prospered. Greeks, Romans, Persians, British, Americans. I think the ambition of countries like China India Brazil etc is just too much for them to remain entirely peaceful.

I know for certain that most of these countries will behave much worse if ever they are left in the current American position ( not likely )

The IRA did change nothing as long as it stick to violance, when the political solution did work so far. There is no justification for terror, because it is indiscriminate by nature. 😮
What do you mean with indiscriminate bombing?

Like in Gaza, where innocent people are killed along with terrorists. No matter what u do, gps, laser and **** when u bomb a city as dense as gaza innocent ppl will die.

Nothing new. There is no military option even. But in that case the counter pressure has to be kept for some time to give the other side the option to learn someting about their miscalculation.
“We can start the asymmetrical violance at will and in the worst case the international public will free us to pay the price for our behavior.”
Compared to other bloody conflicts, the situation there is just “peanuts”. To avoid misunderstandings, I hate people, which do mishandle the own people, when they are claiming that political ideas have to be reached by terror. 😡

Actually terror tactics is usually used by an inferior enemy who do not have the means to fight an open war. But they can resort to the IRA style targetting of soldiers and government officals and spare the civillians. Then again the indiscriminate bombing is almost the same.

The typical nonsense to free public money for own intrests. In the Cold War times it was claimed that the “Russians” would reach Paris in two weeks. None did believe in that really, but the claim was helpful to free further money for the military and their jobs. A professional in the armed forces is a nice job to have, whatever nationalistic claims were done about that. 😎

I hope for your sake that in the next terrorist attack we go for all out war and destroy the PAF.

Anyway have u read the recent BBC news that in the 1970s Britian was virtually defenseless against Russia. 😮

I support Israel. But you are all idiots if you believe the issue can be solved by war alone. Look at the Rising Arab population, there will be a time when they will simply overwhelm israel. So any millitary option must be strictly short term.

Actually truth is that the Europeans did not want to deal with the Jewish people anymore and this involved serious implications like handing over pre war property to the returning Jews etc. The creation of the state of Israel was in effect done to guard European interests. This is why even the Soviet Union supported it. The countries directly or indirectly affected by it were the Arab states and the Third World States. In effect most of the countries who voted against the resolution were from the third world.

All that is history now. Israel has shown its willingness to negotiate provided that the Hamas and others give up their arms and recognize Israel. How can you negotiate with countries like Iran who supply Hamas with weapons and call on conferences of Holocaust deniers ? I think the people of Israel are fighting for their survival……and that if the Hamas or anyone has any issues they must be taking it out with the Europeans not Israelis.

Means True i suppose :D. Recognize Israel stop firing rockets and there will be peace. I believe they were so nearly there with Sharon and Arafat making real concessions towards their last days, sadly tragedy struck both of them.

No negotiation with terrorists be it Hamas or Taliban. They should first lay down their arms like the IRA did before coming to the discussion table.

Also can anyone give comparative analysis of Iranian and Israeli Air Force. How many Tomcats do they have ?

Israel is attacked almost daily by terrorists. Because it is a modern civilized nation it do not want to reply in kind by sending terrorists over to Palestine. It responds the way it can and sadly innocent people will be killed as well.

But it is way better than sitting there and doing nothing and waiting for your enemy to achieve the capability to wipe you out completely. In the last elections the Civilians had a choice to choose the moderates and yet they chose Hamas. Now they are merely suffering the consequences of their choice.
