I also am quite fond of

    Frontier
    BA
    BMI (New colours)
    El Al
    SAA
    SIA
    Qantas

And I really hate Pan Am’s. No liveliness.

I think both AF and LH liveries could be spruced up a little. Air France I might suggest a totally different livery.

    Hmmm……
I’d say it would be either Cathay Pacific, Korean Air or Air Jamaica.
    I really dislike Easyjet’s.

Another instance happened in ’82. An AC 767 ran out of fuel and made a glider landing in Gimli, Canada.

Easily an LY flight in ’98. I was going back from visiting my relatives in Israel and was squashed like a sardine. It was the last flight I flew with them.

Easy. CX888 JFK-HKG via YVR, Buisness class, upper deck,16-8-02. The service was excellent, and there was a good view of the aurora borealis. Great entertainment.
    or
JL49, 15-8-01, same place in plane, JFK-NRT. The service was also excellent, so was the entertainment, and the seats were great.

Korean Air is not the first Asian carrier to opt for the A380, SIA was. Good news, nonetheless.

    Thanks.
There’s a new charter startup there called Odette. I rarely travel on Swiss, the service is horrendous.

I went to Liverpool on EasyJet once (I lived in Geneva at the time). It only cost 146 pounds (321 CHF) and was quite enjoyable. My sister flew Ryanair and called me on her cell phone after the flight. ” I slipped on a banana peel, the water I bought was stale and I’m 80 km from Paris. How annoying.”That’s what she said.

    Lugano-GVA

    HKG-SIN
    SIN-NRT
    NRT-ZRH
    ZRH-Lugano
3-4 days in each of these places besides Zurich, where I connect, and Lugano, where I live.
