Another idea:
UK Airways
London City to
Birmingham 1x daily
Manchester 2x daily
Leeds 1x daily
Newcastle 1xdaily
Amsterdam 6x daily
Fleet: 2 Dash 8 100s
It would be primarily targeting buisness travelers, with low fares and some frills. Seating pitch higher than most airlines, only 30 seats on the planes.
IATA offers courses year-round in various colleges on airline management.
I like the Cathay Pacific and Singapore uniforms.
I really dislike that new Monarch uniform.
I think it’s great for jetBlue. They’ll be able to expand very much in the next 8 years or so. They may even become a major!
You’re right. Those two were dreadful ripoffs.
But I wasn’t too fond of Mk1 either. No one in my family was.
Since the old Pan Am ended in 1990, it has had two reincarnations. The first one, founded by Marty Shugrue, flew A300s to the Carribbean and Miami from JFK. It went bankrupt in 1996. The second one is the one you are talking about.

They need to expand their customer base first, and then begin routes to Europe and Australia/New Zealand.
Europe: They have got Paris and MOSCOW?
Australia: Sydney and Melbourne
Their Asian network is quite impressive
For a first-time customer.
Also, who operates the CRJ700?
Thanks a lot!
I’d love to see one in the current livery.
Was it the national carrier of Norway even when Braathens was around? I seriously doubt Braathens was, it didn’t have int’l flights for a while.
My other idea….
Air St. Lucia
St. Lucia’s airline
Fleet: 2 ATR42s
1 Boeing 757
Destinations: Guadeloupe (daily)
San Juan (daily)
Barbados(daily)
Port of Spain (5x weekly)
St. Thomas (daily)
Aruba (daily)
Curacao (5 x weekly)
Miami (daily)
Washington DC (2x weekly)
New York (daily)
The 747 can seat about 550 single-class, the A380 will be able to do around 800, I suppose.
I think Braathens and Malmo Aviation had an alliance.
I like Comet’s idea a lot. Why not call it Belgian Airlines?
Surrey Skys is also nice.
30 CRJs is the eventual goal, I’d start off with a low number like 3, from Islip. Islip is a good substitute for New York, about the same distance as Paris to Beauvais (80 km). Islip is still quite underserved, and it is the nearest airport for about 2,000,000 people. Yet it only has service to 11 or 12 cities.
