Haven’t been able to get it working on my PIII/800mhz with 3DFX Voodoo 5500 video card yet 🙁 – I don’t think it likes my Memorex CDRW drive, which is a little old – so will get a new DVD-CDRW drive tomorrow (it desparately needs updating anyway, it’s too old and slow).
If that doesn’t work, I think I’ll have to fit a different video card, Voodoo cards are no longer supported.
On my 1gig laptop it works but the inbuilt SiS video card has to be run in software mode. Graphics very low res and jerk like mad, making it unflyable.
Direct X 9 required. 9.0a is included, but 9.0b is out now, so you might want to update it on-line.

There are several ways of doing this: –
You can reduce the colour depth and/or cut out the interesting parts from the photograph as a whole, and/or compress the picture into a different format (ie bitmap to jpeg).
You can do all this with tools such as Microsoft Picture Editor (free with Windows XP and, I believe it is available for most other MS Windows versions.
You can also use other tools, of course, such as Jasc’s Paint Shop Pro.
Some other operating systems, such as Linux, have similar tools included in their various distribution packages.
Essentially, you load the picture into the program (application) you wish to use – make the changes you want – and save it again – being careful to use a new filename, so that you don’t lose your original capture.
Here are some more Jetstreams, and some stringbaggy type things too
Not sure how they got these things in the air – the weather was dire.
Let’s face it, it was too wet for very much else
It isn’t every day you see a flight of Jetstreams taking off
This is what happens when you try to take a photo of Janie with a 2800z:-
Nahhh can’t be a Mirage – no sea skimming missiles!
Oye, careful!
😀
Prepared to sell mine for £100.
Neil,
Thanks, but I don’t think I can compete with others here, in any way.
The 2800Z is fine, the only problems I have is that a couple of pixels have gone in the view finder (not a big problem at all) and autofocus is next to useless. To fix the focus, you have to hold the shutter button halfway down. It takes about 2 seconds to autofocus, which no good for moving objects.
There is a newer model now – which available at the price I paid for the 2800Z. However, I don’t think autofocus is improved, but top resolution 50% or more higher.
Take a look at my review on , CIAO – sorry about any popups, but their not too bad.
I also have reviews on Dooyoo and Consumer Reviews.
