Could it be “Atlas”? I have a notion they are a French publisher – just something I read somewhere.
I totally agree, but surely MS could manufacture FS06 to run on a crappy windows ME system – such as the one I got.
Why on earth would they want to do that? A version of FS already exists that runs on hardware available during the days of ME. You can buy it at a budget price now, too.
What’s “fair”? i.e. What’s the going rate for publishing someone elses photographs?
And is there a premium if the publisher tries to do it on the sly?
Ahh, well, I said I might be mistaken.
I really like them, but if I have to be critical I would say that the fuselarge of Hubert looks just a little bit two dimensional, especially around the cockpit, it seems to lack a little depth to my eyes (maybe I’m crosseyed). The plane above Hubert looks perfect to me.
Having said that, I wouldn’t chuck it out if it was offered 😉
I much prefer Daddy’s Girl, though.
Just had a browse through your website – WOW – very impressive.
It is Fremont Ohio, according to my source. If I remember my American geography correctly, Ohio is, indeed, in Indiana.
Yes, it’s in America – but not sure which state – will get back in a short while.
You lot really do not understand do you. Go on bury your heads in the sand. Damien read the scan I posted.
I quote: The concessionary rate applies to 16 to 18 year olds, students, the registered unemployed and those in receipt of Jobseekers allowance or income support. Disabled adult visitors and carers will be charged the concessionary rate but disabled children are free. Proof of status will be required on entry.
IN OTHERWARDS £22.00… JESUS CHRIST ‘OL MIGHTY, HOW MUCH CLEARER DO YOU WANT IT. IT SAYS IT IN BLACK AND WHITE ARE YOU BLOODY STUPID.
Problem is, I think we DO “get it” Rob – the problem is it is difficult to have sympathy with you.
Firstly, many don’t agree that it is “expensive” even for someone in your financial position. There is little doubt that taking care of 3 disabled people is expensive in any event. And perhaps your priorities should lie elsewhere.
Secondly, it appears that some of the information you have is contrary to information available elsewhere, and it is probable that it isn’t going to be anywhere near as expensive you believe it to be.
Thirdly, you appear to be angry, by the tone of your postings, and I know from personal experience that some people take a dim view of emotional outbursts.
So, you guys think they slung a Tornado fuselarge beneath a Vulcan, complete with guns? I guess that would certainly test the engines and guns alright!
I had visions of a straffing Vulcan – wow what a sight that would be coming towards you, guns blazing!
Alternatively a cannon where the braking chute would usually be – taking pot shots at chasing fighters or missiles – not much good without some kind of remote or automatic aiming mechanism I would have thought. Too complicated for the amount of room available in those days – but hey, I don’t really know.
Makes no difference to me – I’m not classed disabled – just incapacitated* – seems they don’t mean the same thing – AFAIK I would still have to pay £30 – and if I was to go, I’d be happy with that.
*The difference between that and disabled being that while I have no loss of function – I can still walk, talk and be merry – but my heart can packup if I get overexcited, overexerted or overstressed!
Erm what’s going on – he says the entry is £30/person – clearly he’s got the wrong end of the stick, or been passed duff gen?
Edit: Oh I see – DISABLED is £10
Frankly, I’ve found that most airshows offer exceptionally good value for entry, and I’ve made the comment at the gate that I consider it cheap – especially Kemble.
I simply can’t afford to go to any airshows this year, as I’m not earning and on incapacity benefit (heart condition) – but even so, I don’t consider DX to be too expensive – simply beyond my reach. I’ll still try to make it to some of the local shows and events, though.
As I’m on benefits, I really can’t expect my whims and fancies to be catered for by the state.
If everyone in your entourage really wants to go, then perhaps they can contribute to the cost – otherwise save some money by not taking them.
Apparently it was taken just a few days ago!
I voted with my heart and in that respect only the Spitfire will do irrespective of any other reason.
Surprised no one has mentioned “The Big Show” Pierre Clostermann
