Hoots, I didna realise ye were scottish!!!
Haven’t In Flight Refuelling Ltd kept a few older aircraft up and running longer than many others? And Air Atlantique, of course.
Who cares if the acting, direction, story and facts were rubbish. It had loads of mossies in it.
I was under the impression though, and I’m probably wrong, that the Mossie was too fast to be caught by most contemporary german piston engined fighters?
Such a great year – going to Shuttleworth for the first time was significant for me.
Actually being able to recognise some of the forum members too. Everyone who came to Cosford early in the year (13 Mar) in particular. Plus Nick (MOTF) & Janie at Kemble.
A few are in this picture – I believe Andrew-O is the guy with the camera in his hand the bottom right hand corner!
Then there was the Seahawk at Yeovilton. Everything at Duxford’s Legends – best photos of the year I think.
Biggest peeve is still the absolutely awful c*ck up at Cosford. Arrive at 8.50, in by 12 “$*:’8,@ ?9”
How about “The Dambusters” al la Scooby Doo?
Much bigger part for the dog!
You might want to pm him with your email addys – before the spammers catch them.
Hmmm – as a spectator and (sometime) taxpayer, I have to say I am in two minds.
If it is the BofBMF, then there is no doubt that ALL pilots (on any side) were equally brave an deserving of a memorial flight in equal measure.
If it is the WWII MF, then same applies.
However, as this is an RAF WWII MF entitled the BofBMF, then the RAF should continue adding RAF service aircraft if and when they (sorry WE the taxpayer) can afford it.
And with councils wasting millions of pounds of tax payers money cobbling back streets which are never seen by tourists and need constant maintenance & shoving roundabouts where they are completely unnecessary in the final month of the financial year just to justify increasing the expenditure next year (rant over) I think we can afford it.
Personally, I would like to see all the airmen serving with all civilian and military airforces taking part in WWII recognised.
Hell yes
I know too tired to fix it
this doesn’t mean (contrary to popular opinion amongst my friends) that I am a dinosaur!
Maybe not, but “I am Stardust, I am Golden…..”*
Dunno about you lot though 😉 :dev2:
sal****er
:giggle
After reading it one here I tried bonusprint.com, the results were mixed. I sent through 25 prints for just under £4. The few that were straight out of my camera were impressive. The problem came with those from a whille ago that I saved on my pc. I reduced their size to 8X6 inch so I could view them. The bonusprint software require the to be around 1600×1200 to be printed this makes them pixalated on the prints. Its noticeable on the edges of wings etc. Any tips to make these look better?
Unfortunately, if you haven’t saved the original files from your camera, you’re probably stuffed. There are a number of utilities that could help you improve the look, but nothing can restore lost information. They can interpolate (guess) what the missing info might be, but that kind of software is likely to be very expensive and a little hit and miss.
Yes it is important to use any IJ printer regularly. Big expensive jobbies or cheap ones. Frankly anyone who buys a big expensive one, and it doesn’t pay for itself and is therefore used very regularly has more money then sense.
I understand that may well be the case with some of the chaps here! :diablo: 😀 😉
I’d be John Bascombe with his pitchfork!
(If he’s the farmer prodding the hapless pilot).
Victor fly sadly
Did they fly sadly? Or did some of them fly happily? 😉
