Two pubs in my area i can think of Are the Woodman Inn at Nuthampstead…. Used by many USAF personel in 43-44… Its full of excellent photos etc… Very interesting..
Also the Pear Tree in Bassingbourn.. Has many Photos and autographs of Robert Morgan etc….

What are the differences in performance like between the Bristol and Wright… anybody flown both ?
I assume the Wright doesnt ‘whisle’ like the bristol (sound)… Couldnt imagine a Fury without the distinctive sound…
