An incredibly violent thunderstorm ripped through here yesterday afteroon and appears to have taken out 3 parked/ picketed Austers at Shotteswell, Banbury.

Damage reported by others as ‘serious, possibly all write-offs.’

I’ll post again when I have had a look.

He gave us FIRST HAND INFORMATION on the circumstances of Miss Helen’s incident at the weekend

Rubbish…
What was wrong with what mustangman originally posted about the incident…?? He was there… He posted what he saw…. SIMPLE.
So because he IS NOT a warbird engineer… does that make his statment invalid ? YES is what you jolly old experts are saying.

So should I come back and post when im ‘bum chums’ with Stephen Grey…
Or a excellent photographer…
Or when I live at Duxford…

Ive made my feelings clear about this subject.. And hope to post more positive things from now on…

So I think this may be my last post on this forum as I really can’t be doing with it any more. I have more than enough to do & I need to take time out from here.

To the offended… Quite simple.. The red and white cross in the top right corner of the screen is for you.
Just about every thread on this site ends in a pathetic argument… usually with the same few ‘experts’ at the heart of it all…

Grumpy’s been a round a while too….. I remember my father was involved in building the TFC offices in the 80’s and got a ride in her,…

Would be really intresting to know about the TFC pilots historys too… there Careers and how they came to be the luckiest people around etc….

John Bradshaw (Sea Fury pilot) said that he wasn’t going to fly in the show. Airframe and engine hours are too precious ….

Big Shame……. The Sea Fury is a Flying legend… Isnt she……

On the subject of secrets…. I read somewhere on the net that the ‘secret’ restoration of a Hawker Tempest 2 is very near completion. ‘somewhere’ in the uk…
it went on to suggest legends could be a possibility… ??

Im all for 558 coming to Duxford… Whats to say it cant Taxi run there…. It would be a added bonus to any duxford event..
And where else in the world would you see 2 Vulcans side by side…..

Anyway…. Great news !! Ive never seen or heard a Vulcan fly..
