I beileve that the rear fuselage, tailplanes& some wing sections went to Colin Waterworth for his He111 project but this has since moved on.

Martyn, the comments in post #235 are meant to be light hearted, hence the 😀 icons. And when the said item actually sold i was not the next highest bidder, as someone else was bidding too. No problemo 😉

    Rob

The Firebrand hub was listed twice as the first winner didnt want it.
So Wyvernfan could have bid on a diferent listing to the one that i won.

Yeah thats the fella. So your not tempted to put in an offer for the ebay prop blade then Andrew?

    Rob

If it had its original paint finish & at drastically reduced price!

Thats been for sale on and off for over twelve months now Lee. But there was also a Firebrand prop hub that sold on ebay last year. I did go for it but got outbid, but had i been successful then i might of made an offer on this prop blade to make up a nice display.

Hi Rob i think this is the one you are talking about,i was lucky enough to win it.:)

    I Absolutley agree,Good stuff Brian;)
Now if you could persuade a certain Group leader to part with an Ex Martinet ,Mercury ,for the project ,that would be a miracle:p

By all accounts Tim its a lovely project showing great determination and a very worthy subject, so well done mate :).

    Told you so Tim:)

You’re too modest Tim. Judging by the pics you have shown me your project is up there with the best of them.

Infact its good enough for a project thread all of its own, cough – nudge – cough 😉

    Model board ?
We use the stuff for making patterns at work.

    As ever really great photos!…
…..A question, what is the green stuff (trade name / manufacturer etc), of the green material that the sheet-metal guys make their form blocks from??
