And this is what jolly Skipton has on offer at the moment (15:45) …….
We had about half an hour of snow last night, and half an hour of snow this afternoon….. Other than that it’s glorious (apart from the temperature!). Infact I hav’nt seen the current bun this much since summer !!!

We should count ourselves lucky to a degree. I have a friend who is mad keen about railway photography. Last year he was ordered to hand over his 35mm film roll and told to leave London Liverpool Street railway station. The reason being that “apparently”, Liverpool St. Station is like the rest of the country owned by (at the time) Railtrack. He had not sought permission of railtrack and should have sent a request in writing to Railtrack asking for permission to take photo’s on thier property.

Hi there folks,
Like you mention alot of people run their own aviation websites now and it would be a good idea to set up a web ring. If you are all prepared to wait a couple of months I can go about setting one up. I havnt’ the time at the moment but when I do I am willing to do all the server side programming so that users can log in and submit thier sites automatically without the need for a webmaster to keep update.
Cheerio,

Nice shots Kev….
I see that Islandflug 737-46B reared it’s head in Birmingham only hours after I caught it at LBA

Thanks Kev / Michael & Martin for info. It makes sense that the 737 is Ryanair operated. I arrived at LBA at about 10:30 / 45 this morning and I think there is scheduled departure suppose to leave at around 10:15 to Dublin…

Purchase made !
After several hours of research on various sites and reviews, I finally purchased the Z1 from Internetcamerasdirect for £259. I recieved it this morning and havnt had chance to really try it out “properly” yet apart from the obvious cat, car , wife (not that type!), garden view shots. Hopefully as im working in Leeds tomorrow , I may be able to slip down to LBA and “break it in!” for a few mins…………..
Thanks for your correspondance earlier regarding your views, The only reason I wanted to post the question on here is as I know a few of you are budding aviation photographers yourself and I wanted advice on if the camera had been used “aviation style”, something to which the review websites couldnt offer.
Cheerio,
Graham
Wysiwyg…. Re 777 Efis crash, Is it at this point where you have to take yourself and your passengers and all cargo off the plane turn everything off and stand outside for a couple of minutes. Then you open all the doors, everybody gets back onboard turn the systems back on and find out you have lost all your unsaved routes and have to recode them all back in.

“The football rivalry with Leicester City is somewhat less, despite the city currently boasting the region’s only Premiership Club (while Forest and County both face possible relegation from Division One, sitting at 21st and 22nd respectively).
– Okay don’t rub it in about that bit !!! 😉 I admit we may be in a slight “depression” at the moment ! Still, at least the sheep sh+++++S are further down!
Back to the point, EMA were trying to market the airport in favour of people from afar would recognise it’s location, hence Nottingham was chosen as it’s the most “well known” of the three cities. Which makes you wonder why at all change the name. If plans to rename it where such as Robin Hood, King BC etc then I can’t seem to justify changing it. I’m afraid to me it seems just like another P.R stunt to attract attention to the fact that their is an airport there! The bottom line is these advertising and marketing companies employ “stunts” to attract media attraction. I.e. Here we are debating it now, it’s appearing in all the papers etc, interest that would not be given if the airport hadn’t been going for a spotlight.

Do you think I could tender for the contract of writing the new software for them 😀
