I’m having trouble seeing the America West influence personally. :confused:

The darker under belly with the red strip and the tail are very similar to America West albeit in a slightly different shade of blue. The wavy pattern on the tail is taken from America West.
Overall I think it looks quite smart

But howcome Flymonarch manage to fly to Malaga direct fine, with no stops?.

A320’s have better range/ take off profile over 737’s

Afterall, its only European (excluding Florida) destinations that Globespan fly to anyway.

FlyGlobespan will also operate to Cape Town. ( not that they would have any intentions of flying to CPT from ABZ)

Nice shots!!! I’ll guess that was the TOM 767 that was in BFS today 😉 .

Certainly did DLM-BFS-GLA for the return leg. Suppose very early on in the season to fill 290 seats to DLM

Long awaited decision on replacement due later this year I think. A350 and 787 in running. Nothing in the short term- hence refurbishment. 738’s to replace 757’s.

These are the same talks that have been going since the mid 1980’s during the oil boom. I wouldnt read too much into it.

Not sure the long hauls can be doing that well from DSA- currently offering flight only deals to Cancun for £29 and Florida for even less. 😮
