Always a bit wary of extensively structurally repaired aircraft. The Japan Airlines 747 with the repaired tail end springs to mind.
I know theres not many of you out there, but for those who like Wooster type models – here is my rarest to date – what a gem and comes with original rubber landing gear. I believe there is a 737-200 to match if anyones seen one. What a gem.
Cant see demand for daily 180 seat flights from ABZ, when there are limited routes even during the peak summer. Limited routes for a reason…as demand is not great.
Monarch are not stupid tho and so I would imagine they would do some market research first. GSM will not be happy if they were planning some routes from ABZ.
I await with interest the formal announcement, and how long any potential routes last.
Hapagfly indeed.
I hope its not going to be a case of too much too soon for EI. The exansion this year so far seems a little ambitious.
This was Glasgows busiest day ever apparently. The 747 was one of two today.
I gather they’re earmarked for demolition fairly soon?
I better tell my gran…..
Wonder if Helios will ever get winglets
“Complete and utter failure” perhaps, but a neat way of utilising the ferry flight required to position an aircraft in DUB for the new DUB-ORK flights.
G-CDEG has always had them.
CDEG had the wrong decals fitted by Boeing on delivery as the large G on the tail was off centre.
These were removed and then reinstalled in the UK
Original
Revised and now with winglets
Nice to see one of the GSM 738’s in full colours…when did it get its tail decals ?
White is the new charter arm of TAP, yeah ?
