If anyones interested I got well over 400 of these now, started collecting when I was 5.
Most stored in boxes as I haven’t enough room. i got some real rare ones too.
If anyone wants to see the a list I have it in Excel format.i’ll maybe post some pics if I get a chance.
I prefer the original Wooster models rather than the Long prosper Flight Minature types.
Some of my collection classics include-
Wooster model No.1 – Monarch Airlines original 70’s livery with monarch written on the tail.
Fokker F28 in Air UK 1980’s blue colour that never actually appeared on the F28
Braniff Boeing 747-200 ” Big Orange”
Britannia 767-200 in original red colours scheme- again aircraft never flew in these colours.
There were scheduled or should I say regular high season charter flights to Florida with Air Atlanta 747’s but they have finished now, so any more 747 flights will be unexpected now.
It might all end in tears
Nothing like a bit of optismism.
Red Cross need help !
Its funny- why paint out the names of the airline i.e MYT on those DC-10’s, but then leave the website for all to see along the side of the aircraft !!!
Oh well, theres the answer then !!
Am going to the right and dees going to the left
Ive used the BY 767 head on as my desktop if thats OK ?
Dam ..Ive landed on a building site
Amster-DAM….?
Note the Rolls Royce building behind the US air 767. The roof is shaped like a wing, but you can only see it from the other side. My granny used to work in there when it was India tyre factory.
Mmmm , I don;t think its a 747 – look at this picture and the the trailing edge of the horizontal stabiliser is not as far back and is set more inboard than the puzzle picture.
This might be of interest
