    It’s awful when you hear of crew dying because of their chute failing to deploy 🙁

    i agree it’s terrible when any of the crew members die but to die form a malfunctioning parachute that has to be the worst

    Thanks to all of you who responded to my post 1)HP57 appreciate the critiscism but to answer your question if i can find a viable airframe and four Bristol Hercules engines they dont need to run just need to be serviceable yes i can pull it off as i allready have an interested party 2)thanks to dave and phil for pointing out that i require hercules and not mercury engines 3)thanks also to dave for linking me to another site i’ll check it out when i’m done posting this 4)thanks to DaZDaMan for the pics

    Witnessed HP Victor Crash

    Iforget the year it was either 86/87 i ‘m not sure which but i was at the time a member of the Canadian Warplane Heritage and i was at the museum preping the Avenger for our annual airshow when we informed that the Victor tanker we were expecting was on final approach so all us aircraft nuts went out to see it come in problem was as she came in she caught a crosswind and skidded of the runway her undercarriage pierced the port wing not sure about the starboard i have pics somewhere when i find them i’ll post them couldnt get close enough to get code form fuselage although after they chopped her up we did get to keep the nose section for a while and somewhere i still have the ejection seat lever/handle or so i was told all i know for sure is that it came from inside the cockpit it’s a “T” handle with black and yellow stripes with a cable attached to it
