😀
Oh, and maybe we can ask RAFM Hendon for a shot of the Ju-88 for a while…..It did land at Aberdeen after all :diablo::diablo:
And maybe they can trow in the ME-110 as wel…
Pagen01,
This is a snippet of info on the Sycamore, not really fresh but I assume they are still working on it.
http://www.flyingbulls.com/#/en/Terminal/Latest-News/-/Bristol-Sycamore/
That’s great news, I assume it’s the one that flew in recent times in Switzerland?
I believe it is that one.

This one is certainly a warbird…
Red Bull is also restoring a Sycamore to airworthy condition.
What damage would a swarm inflict then?

IF there are any remains of the Wyverns etc still there, then does it matter what condition they might be in ?. After all, how many of you would turn your noses up at a large lump of Spitfire, no matter how squashed, burned & corroded it might be ? “exactly, not many of you”, so whats the difference if it’s a lump of Wyvern, surely the chance of recovering any Wyvern parts is worth the effort, especially given the types rarety.
Bob T.
It’s surely worth a try!!!
More Greek strays….

More Greek strays….

I had only seen good photos of the one outside and a very poor quality of the second one indoors. Do you by any chance have a photo of the other side of the second one?
Back then I couldn’t photograph the other side, there was a Firefly right next to it…
I also have this photo of one of the other Chippies at Don Muang AP.
It’s not the best, but photographing on site was not allowed so I shot some pics from the hip with mixed results…. It gives an idea of another colour scheme used by the Thai.

This one looks a bit healthier…

These 2 are in the RTAF museum Bangkok.
I don’t know wich one you’ve already seen..

And this one is preserved/stored with two other Chippies at Dong Muang Airport.

When I see these pics, I only want to go back there!!
I visited Sintra in 2000 as a guest of 502 sq. My guide mentioned the relocation of the museum from Alverca to Sintra, but as always funds were short.
My guide even arranged a cockpit”sit in” for the Neptune!!
I’m going up the attic this afternoon to look fot my slides of the visits…
A replica it is then… The museum staff at that time were just telling rubbish or they didn’t know better… Either way I still remember my visit back then as a plaesant one.
