Hats of to the French builders who created a nice looking airplane….
Its more a Mosquito look a like or an oversized model than a replica in my opinion.
Still a great achievement!
You still hear of stuff in the old soviet union or has that been basicaly sold out ?.
I know they ask extorionate prices but if you balance what they might want for one against the costs and the condition of the Goodwin Sands one its got to be a close thing ??.
The Goodwin Sands example is historical attached to the UK, a “russian” wreck isn’t….
I’m with Ben on this one…
In my humble opinion everything with wings should fly, no matter age or rarety.
An aircraft is made to be flying!!!
By the way, Happy Birthday to NX611!!
the nose glazing is not right…
It looks like some of the nose glazing is painted on… Cannot be sure if it’s painted on the plane or added later on the photo.
Soviet propaganda photo’s were often altered to make it look better or confusing the rest of the world.
edit:JT442 you beat me to it…
Been there a few times in the early 90’s. Always had a great time!!!

Also somewhere in France…

What about the FW190? I understand that the productionline is for sale…:diablo:
I’ll go for the A-1 Skyraider.
It’s rugged, has a great payload, combat proven, reliable and adaptable for different tasks.
The Royal Thai Air Force still operates some (turbo)C-47’s.

It was re-opened today. Only a small part of the building is still closed for the public.
That Centaurus is from the Dutch Military Air museum. It once was attached to Fokker buildt Sea Fury 6-18. Last time I saw it was in 2005 at the open depot days at Soesterberg.
