This photo was taken at Sevierville airport. The P-47’s made some formation flyby’s in Honour of some visiting ww2 veterans.
It was rather special to me, to see 2 P-47’s in action and have some conversations with some veterans at the same time !!

I’m still proud of OUR footballteam!!!

Is there an exact location where this event will be held? Seriously concidering to make a drive from The Netherlands and then book a hotel

Don’t know where you live in the Netherlands, but from Utrecht it is at max. a 4 hour drive. It is a little further than Calais.
So it is possible to do it on a one day trip.
