Very enjoyable too from the ‘other side’. Loads of intelligent questions (some too intelligent for me!) and some thoroughly nice people. The weather could have been a little more co-operative. However it did not rain – must be grateful for that.

Just checked one of my early logbooks to see I did a bit of flying in EI-ATP out of Coonagh (Limerick) in 1969. I seem to remember it wasn’t really ineterested in climbing much above a thousand feet. The sound of the J.A.P. is still ringing in my ears!
