Its getting scary. This is the 1st time I can remember where the Republicans are saying defence must be cut. Some are saying the “B” and “C” must go………bad times.

Seeing as how US carriers embark less A/C than the “glory” days of the 60s-80s……..has the crew complement gone down?

my proper carrier would be like our cvf & lots of them,ie some for just air defence some for just strike but with a nuclear reactor for cruiseing and gas turbines for extra oomph ie 32knots + but unfortunatly we in britain dont have that much dosh,unlike the americans who can afford lots of cvn?

Looks like we really cant afford the things anymore either! The farce that we call a government cant descide what kind of budget they want!
