Didn’t they say they will exhibit the small Baby Boom at the Dubai trade show next week? (On the ground)
Heard rumours Breitling will drop entire Connie and DC-3 support (plus acro-prop) alltogether.
I hope Lufthansa, Red Bull and the Berlin Dak guys hear the news early.
One Dakota, original Berlin Airlift!, went to Berlin and suffered some engine failure and crash landing at Schönefeld. It sits in a hangar and waits to be merged with a second a/c (AA) that is planned to be used as donor. Not aware of any current progress.
Their baby got foamed in when the hangar fire protection system misfired this monday.

Do you have a source for this claim please? AFAIK both versions can be ordered new.
It’s no secret and has never been. He even did media events for years with him in the cockpit. Still very cool that he is a pilot. Nice gentleman obviously.
Military variants of the Il-18, called Il-20, are in widespread use. Sort of an “Orionski” or “Arieski”.

And they plan to close Bodo Air Base.
That would be some great place to display some U-2.
What was in there back then? Some crown and Corgi food?
Theres is a lot of room between banning hobbyists with sometimes limited flying standards (or flying displays while being too heavy ladden with fuel for all the way back to home) and no display at all or just pattern work.
Don’t aim your aircraft at the audience. Keep a certain safety altitude. Fly within tight limits. Show what you will do beforehand to the organizers.
Any news on the F 13 anybody please?
Should roll out of it’s Dübendorf hangar by now shouldn’t it?
On january 9th the Airbus flight test department had A350 MSN1 overfly Mr. Turcat’s grave near Aix as a special gesture of respect and honour. After several low and slow passes the A350 special flight returned to Toulouse.
The current A-2s are now made of smaller leather parts. I think the back is now a triple construction instead of a double one as before. Pilot sizes tend to become bigger and big sized skins of leather are getting more expensive.
Strange viewing position for all those media guys. No wonder they missed the very final touchdown moment behind that hangar. So who picked this spot?
Good ones. Thanks
