I might add that the 8222 jammer has been noted by both Asian Defence Journal (for what its worth) and the Internation Air Power review (their article on Sukhois).

Thats clearly an Elta 8222 jammer. Look at the IAI webpage!
The IAF has apparently adopted the same solution as the Heyl Ha Avir has done for its F15I’s.

Incredibly bad movie.

He he..dunno about that. There were Delta Force flicks which were worse and made this one look ok in comparison. 😀

UAE and moderate? on which planet are you living. They have officially recognized Taliban and is among the biggest spender on there way of islam. Dont be fooled by glitter of Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

At least they are not as open about their “tendencies” as their other Islamic friends are.And they jump up and down at Uncle Sam’s bidding, which cant hurt 😉

Israel and Turkey have a long standing defense relationship. Neither regards the other as a threat. Israel ostensibly uses the Turkish airspace for training. Whereas the Turks buy Israeli defense hardware.
(And crib about it from time to time like all respectable customers should do:D)

Similarly UAE is a moderate Muslim state, an open and reliable US ally with loads of moolah- so they get Block 60’s.

Pakistan doesnt have the cash nor is it regarded as reliable(leaving the politics of “why” apart) so it wont get the F16’s with AMRAAM’s. Too volatile for US’s comfort I am afraid.

But they might offer early Blocks with Sparrows…and then sell India P3C’s. The wonders of a “conflict economy”! Make money off both sides. 🙂

Nothing much to be true. We could sell quite a bit but our close ties with Israel have put a dampener on arms sales. Otherwise Indian OFB make a variety of indian systems and lic versions – Milan2T’s/ Konkurs M’s etc which the Iranians would be glad to get. There is a wide range of EW and Comms plus sonar gear as well.

In the past, India has supplied Iran with batteries to upgrade its Kilo subs, and provided spares and other bread and butter items for the Iranian army and AF.

RSAF F-16 pilots trains at Luke AFB, 56th FW and Cannon AFB, 27th FW. The same group went to France for Exercise Western Arc before going to Gwalior. What is known is that RSAF brought DASH and AIM-9s to france, no python 4 was seen. So did the Indians give a fair fight or is it 12 to 4 like the Eagles and limited BVR shots?

Will be a fair fight. The IAF was more wary of the USAF in a way- note they didnt include the MKI. So both sides maintained a level of Opsec.
