Dassualt has zeroed into reducing the flyway cost of its Rafale fighter aircraft. They have realized this is the only way they will be able to secure some export orders. Presently,the flyway cost of Rafale is between $55-$65 million per unit and now Dassualt is trying to reduce this price tag to $40-$45 million per unit. One of the reasons for prematuerly shuting down of Mirage 2000 production line has been to promote Rafale.

Well, according to whatever literature one takes as a referance, both Phalcon and Erieye are AEW&C not AWACS. The only known AWACS is good’ol E-3.

My personal belief is that that CIA has given USA its worst image. From the banana wars to systematic torture of people CIA doesn’t like, to over throwing of elected governments to running US foreign policy without the knowledge of White house and state. department CIA is never held accountable for its bad deeds. I have never come across one instance in which CIA was held responsible for abusing our image.
