To put you all out of your misery, it was me. I am going to be the new owner of XA903. I am just a regular sort of guy with a passion for aviation, and an understanding wife.

here she is undergoing the engine mod at Marshalls.

    Did’nt reply

Well I stood next to him for 15 minutes asking questions but no reply was forth coming, so I left him to it.

Well, he did get a bit more animated on Sunday when the wind picked up. Flailed his arms around like a Whirling Dervish then hurled himself to the ground and broke his visor. Clumsy oaf.

I told him to stop showing off in front of his friends and sent him to bed without any tea.

It was my first visit to the cockpitfest and it wont be the last. Went on Sunday but wished it had been Saturday as there wasn’t many shops open in Newark for the wife and MIL. Great presentation with Ken Ellis (Looks no different then any other Homo sapien, contrary to public opinion, or is that Cockpiteers opinion.)

Thanks to all you allowed me to photograph the instrument panels etc. Its given me the will to try and get a couple of C130 inst panels for a display, as soon as they scrap the ones at Cambridge.

    regards

    Hi Camlobe

Went to Honington to see a Court Martial in action, that was for someone who was using drugs.

My Court Martial was for fighting, I was a Corporal at Linton-on-Ouse and had borrowed a motorbike from a friend so I could go and referee a football match. I did`nt realise that I was on reserve fuel and when he took the bike out he ran out of fuel. We had a get together, he went to Medical Center and told them we had a fight. Next thing police knocking on my door in the barrack block, taking to the guard room. Charged with fighting then up in front of Station Commander who said Court Martial.

I ended up being the last tech at Linton as Airworks had taken over. Result of Court Martial was a £200 fine, paid back at something like £10 a month and a reprimand.

Good show from the Judge on my presentation.

No one could understand why it went so far.

As we had been posted because Airwork my posting to Finingley was cancelled because the other bloke was there so when I went to SHQ they rang PMC up and I had a choice of 6 stations to go to.

    thanks
