    Regarding the snowblower at Brooklands Museum, I can confirm that it came from Dunsfold and if You click on this link http://www.brooklands100.org/aviation/aviation_exhibits.htm#1

    and look down the list for Aviation Related Vehicles the snowblower is listed there and a picture can be shown..

    Wisley, for many years, has been owned by developers so this was just a change of developer, a waste of an airfield all the same though!..

    In addition the Viscount RAE cockpit at Brooklands, would anyone know if that has a complete interior or is gutted? Many Thanks.

    The nose section is being restored at this time and the interior will be refitted..

    Brooklands is interesting…

    made up from two pics but with a section missing !

    Look where the Vanguard and VC-10 are parked follow the road going east and spot the join,, there should be the River wey and BAC 1-11 (yep G-ASYD) and the varsity..

    Yes, Brooklands does run the engines on the Vanguard. The team that look after the aircraft does a good job keeping it this way. The engines are run quite often.

    On Thursdays the 1-11, Viscount, VC-10, and Concorde are normally open, The Vanguard is open mainly on Sat and Wed ..
    (The 1-11 and Concorde read “always” open on Thursday’s!!)
    As Archer said (and a good morning to him!!), staffing levels can alter which aircraft are open.

    Great shots Anna, Glad You and Your Son enjoyed Yourselves, but (or should that be butt??) shame We didn’t meet up for the mini forum meet.. Had a busy day running around all morning chasing aircraft (1 of 2 out on the airfield helping the Tiger Moths etc..) quieter afternoon but then got busier again later. Good fun though !!..
