no different to someone starting a ‘discussion’ purely to get a rise, judging by the amount of threads you’ve started that appears to be yr only motive.

ok if you want honest,i believe going into iraq was the correct thing to do, i was there for the invasion and went back again in 2006 when we lost 3 of our people to ground fire( lynx xz614 shot down over basra 060506) and believe that getting rid of saddam was correct, also believe that getting rid of the taliban is a good thing, humans make mistakes epecially when under stress and scared thats when abuse happens,it is not a part of policy. As for trolling i could hardly dare to match you, could i?

with 3 kids under 8 i catch a lot of cartoons, but i would happily watch phineas and ferb all day on my own, gloriously off the wall and lots of gags for all ages, after that then anything to do with engineering!

The BRISTOL BLENHEIM,a complete history by graham warner,a monster of a book and with the appendices listing the losses day by day a very sobering read of the job those blokes were doing, also it allowed me to roughly cross check losses mentioned in the book SHIPHUNTER by R E GILMAN which cheered me up a little as some of those who he mentioned were shot down appear to have survived to be captured, a rare occurence for the blenheim boys.

I have to admit i cannot remember the champagne part but it has to be remembered that the eton/harrow/sherborne etc type ( ie stereotype upper class) suffered very high losses as well and subalterns in the lines died very quickly, i also thought the music was an odd fit but i still enjoyed the 2nd episode and reckon the other recent similar programs are good also.

after all the hate directed at the red tops in the last couple of years due to hacking i would expect them to not play this game anymore, the entrapped MP’s lack of common sense is remarkable but it is also his family that will have to deal with this very public lack of fidelity. While i have no sympathy for him it doesn’t sit well with me the way it happened.

i’m surprised this thread is still running, how long did the last religion/god/darwin etc thread carry on till it turned to insults then got canned.

‘flat earth news’ by nick davies, about modern media and all types of news sources, very sobering reading about how our news is produced.
