Afghan Air Force article on Wikipedia says that “Afghan government is negotiating the purchase of the Cessna T-37 Dragonfly small jet aircraft as its main fighter/trainer.”
However, the article doesnt state the source if this info.

i totally distrust anything i read on wiki in regards to afghan air force 😉
apart form political influence, i cant see why they would want to by them: they already have a small fleet of superior L-39 trainers, of which they have brought some ‘new’ ones from russia allready.
as for its suggestion of the t-37 main fighter, that set of my wiki ‘spidy sence’ LOL T-37 woudl be a pretty usless choice for the afghan air force, and the threats its likely to encounter
