23BN has the larger intake shield – for layer airflow separation (is this correct in english??). and rectangular intakes
27 has a very small shield and the outboard wall of the intakes is bulged

jsut finished building models of mig-27 and mig-23BN 😀

aside from the intakes and other bits mentioned the 23BN has fuselauge pylons (same as mig-23) whereas MiG-27 has pylons on the bottom of the intake. the Nose of the MiG-23BN is similar to early Mig-27s, but quite different fron the rest of the family.

probaby using ANAAC overhauled ones aswell! 😆

how did this happen? I mean the overall impression to me is Astans been put on the backburner (or done on the cheap) and as a result, is being paid for now 🙁

or is it that iraq is jsut taking up most of the MODs time and resources at the moment?

eitherway im gettign that deja vou feeling, seeing interesting paralells.

thanks for the headsup, but yea i realised that..hency why the kewait one seems tempting: i wont have to cut the kit to pieces and scratchbuild etc

so if i hung arms mentioned above of the kuwaiti woudl be fine? 🙂

did the MiG-23BN use mig-23ML tyres or the bulged MiG-27 type?
