Hey people – long time no log-on

😮 Would this be UPS, down to Ramsgate beach and could hardly believe my eyes to see a UPS A300 – was wondering the details surrounding this particular flight, regularity/origin/contents if possible.

Also, I saw numerous Jet2 vehicles on the motorway, can anyone explain considering Jet2 have no operations in Kent, and merely a flight to Gatwick from Manchester in the South as a whole, last time I looked.

Back to Manston, what do people know about Jentex, noted their oil drums and the web yields no info,

    Wozza

No it was an Egypt Air Cargo A300F. Certainly looked nice over by cargo. 😎

The Jet2 trucks are part of the Fowler Welch coolchain distibutions. Owned by the Dart group and thus they advertise on the side of their trucks. Have a base at Teynham, Kent. Therefore no link to EGMH.

Other news is that some new freight services may be starting soon.

Quick heads up for any Manston enthusiasts. First new cargo flight this Wednesday..

A good catch for Manston. 😉

EGMH are you part off the Manston Yahoo group or work at MSE?

    James

I’ll answer them Q’s via PM.

Note that Esperia has made the front page of this fridays Isle of Thanet Gazette. Pretty much saying what is on the website although they want to start the charter flights this October with the scheduled starting December.

IS the aircraft going to be an MD-83.

    JAmes

Yes, there should be 3X MD-83’s.

P.S Had BA and Ryanair aircraft divert in this evening due weather in the London area. 😀

The Esperia Website has had a few changes. Newcastle is now Durham and the Aer has changed to Air.

Also note the transfer to coaches part that I mentioned last Saturday. 😉

    ‘Insider’

Indeed the KIA website needs to be updated regarding the USA flights.

As for Esperia I’ve no other info other than what I’ve shared already but I’ll keep my ear close to the MH tarmac for any new info..

PS. The Coastguard Islander is back based from Lydd.

Do you know why there has been aload off C130 coming into Manston lately?

The UAE air force C130’s have generally been bringing cargo. Not sure what type of cargo though.

Been quite a few an-12’s in the past month of so. They’ve brought a variety of cargo from fresh produce to rock band equipment.

Certainly cargo has incresed since Infratil took chage. All good signs…

Nice to see the MJS hanger now filled with DasAir.

Plus a microlight club is starting soon at TG.

The World flights are for State Farm Insurance employees, bringing employees over for 6 days in London. Four per week for five weeks.

Rumour has it that the Esperia flights will be with MD-83’s. Primarily for the business market, with passengers tranfered onto coaches after arrival to Central London. The website looks a tad average but these plans are not pie in the sky….trust me.

Nice An-32 at the Cargo apron since thursday. 48119 of Russian Aircraft Corp. Arrived from Farnborough.

Plus an An-26 of Pskovavia due in this Tuesday.
