Weren’t there a couple of Trident Yokes for sale on ebay recently?
3. Directional Gyro (Compass bearing) aircraft circa 1940’s.
4. Large Turn and Slip, British aircraft miltary or civilian circa 1940’s
5. MKIII Automatic pilot, from memory I think I’ve seen these on DC-3 Dakota’s, I’m sure that they would have been attributed to other aircraft.
7. Gyro compass this looks like the Mk4B type (B for Bomber) would have been fitted to British Military cold war types such as, Canberra, Varsity, Victor Mk1, Valiant, Pembroke etc
My friend who is a journalist has stated that an ITV television crew will attend the museum tomorrow to film this for a 15 sec news slot.

Third picture along what is the aircraft in the distance underneath the wing?
Hmmm thanks for this, looks a bit grim for the old propliners this season, wasn’t there a DC-3 meeting last year somewhere in Western Europe?
Many G4F Compasses have passed through my hands, I too have come across one which was not hot, they are out there but not many of them.
I have also heard of the postal services in North America stopping some WWII instruments getting through to the delivery address. This could only mean that radomly parcels are scanned for radioactive material no doubt??
Talking about tridents any trident experts out there know why the Chinese Trident had completely different designed yokes to that of the British Tridents?
Whistling is normally a Goblin engine on a Vampire jet is it not?
I’m so envious of you guys, panels are near impossible to come across in the land down under! One day maybe!
Drop me a PM Davesoda with your e-mail address and if you want I’ll put you in touch with a chap in the US who is selling empty UASF panels (1940-1960’s era), can’t say they are cheap though.
Should read combined with the autojumble
Yep I tend to agree having been to 3 of the last events, its never advertised widely, huge potential, what better than to have an aerojumble at an aviation museum with plenty of walk on aircraft exhibits!
Yep as Bruce pointed out, Lets get this show back on the ebay road boys and girls!
