Beautiful throttle box , immaculate condition and certainly rare, such a treasure. I see that it or a similar one is now for sale on a well known web site.
Nice to see that there are still good finds out there.
Ah! just placed the serial number on Google and it stated that it’s from a Chipmunk.
How do you know it’s a Chipmunk without any photos?
Can we be sure that the shop will be open this year till closing time? Wouldn’t want another Newarkgate scandal! Just joking I’ll be there.
Shame, great magazine, loved the stories of the tours and internal flying around North Korea, Eastern Russian republics and other far reaching obscure places where propliner gems are still waiting to be found alive and well!
Any company DC-3 or DC-6’s still flying or visiting?
So potentially we have a project for an airworthy B377 Strat, also independantly a project for an airworthy C97 not to mention the German and Swss Constellatons. The future of the European air show circuit is certainly looking promising! All we need now is for someone to raise a Vickers VIscount from the ashes, any of them still languishing in Africa?
Both shops can be found in West Street, Dorking, RH14 1BL
Somewhere further a field in France is a proper mans shop, look at the left hand photo of the shop and scroll to walk around inside it.

Good to have an aviation antique shop in Dorking, Surrey! Nice crew seat in the background too.
1984 Aerojumble video on youtube, recognise anyone?

Nice trip down memory lane Gokone, aerojumbles as they use to be in the Golden days. Surely there must be a buried hoard out there somewhere just wanting to be found!
Yep he could have got mixed up, I’ll drop him a line tomorrow and let him know.
Anyone collect wheels, Junkers 90 wheel for sale

Hmmm looking at their other items even the post war instruments such as the Mach 1.3 gauge are labelled as WW2. Perhaps they don’t realise.
Good find on those sticks at the auction.Always nice when you come across something like that. I see Spitfirespares have a lovely HP Hastings yoke which has just come into stock, compliments the Halifax yoke placed above it.
