Thanks for another update Graham. Just a thought, how about spraying the jets recesses with waxoyl thinned with white spirit to leave a thin coating, it would be a shame to see the teams hard work slowly deteriorating over time.

Just a thought RE the difficulty on maintaining Lindy and having the time to update this thread which we all love. How about getting someone onboard the team whose job it is to record work carried out, take pics, vids, and also update this thread and Lindy website. This person might have an avid interest in cold war aviation but maybe not the oily bits……just a thought.

Hi ianf it was me asking if patching the aircraft comms onto a video recording would be possible. Its good to see that my request might turn into a reality. I believe that it would add an extra diamention to a video. Got to admit though that i have a fascination with pre-start checklists (i know it takes all sorts) and can’t get enough of them.
Keep up the good work, i always look forward to the updates.

Thanks guys for the replies, just as a spin off 🙂 from one of the replies I would love to see a vid of an engine run or even better a taxi run but with the aircraft comms patched thru to the recording. I’ve hunted round on t’net but haven’t found anything that hits the spot. Would this be possible?
