Educaion alone is not a magic bullet. I hold common people as much responsible for the situation in their countries as much as their selfish rulers. Go to any of the muslim country and talk to the people. Almost 99% of the people will complaint about the incompetency of their Govt and involvement of foreign hand in their matters. Now just ask them do they want a change and the answer would be ‘yes of course’. And then ask how the change will come? and nobody will have a clear answer. Why? because the people themselves dont want to sacrifice for their country. They talk about change but dont want to contribute. They want a magic solution of their problems and dont believe in personal involvement.

Take for instance Gen Mushrraf in Pakistan. He threw away a democratically elected Govt (I know that was a disgustingly incompetent and corrupt govt) and took over the charge. He tried to privitize every thing in Pakistan and as a result the gasoline that used to sell fo Rs 30 or so before him is now selling twice as much. Prices of just ever thing are sky rocketing. On the other hand, military, fudals, businessmen, and politicians are filling their pockets. People are directly affected and middle class is shrinking with every passing day. But who cares? Did people come forward and did some thing practical other than ranting? Why they should because such a change requires personal sacrifices and nobody is prepared for that.

Thats is why such nations deserve not be on this planet. And that is true for any nation that is composed of such selfish people.

did it cross your mind that in at least some of these countries of they raise their head above the parapet they would prb get it shot off? Still a reason to eradicate them?

What level of incompetence have you set? what about a country where a foreign military holds sway and have caused tens of thousands of deaths over a few years time span? who gets it in the neck? the occupier or the oppressed?

And with regards to education….many many countries keep their population as dumb as poss t stop them asking too many questions or for that matter getting any high ideals about their life style expectations.is that the fault of the population?

It’s common knowledge that foreign criminal gangs are operating in this country, and probably in other European countries as well. I don’t have a problem with people who come here from other countries, for a better standard of living for themselves, and contribute to the countries wealth. What I do have a problem with, are people who come here, just to rip us off for their own personal gain, I can’t see how you can consider that being rascist. We have similiar problems here with high levels of involvement in prostitution ,smuggling & drug dealing by foreign nationals who came here obstensively to work or as refugees. Recent figures show a huge increase in the arrest of FX nationals being pulled in for fairly serious crime.

there is definately a case for vetting those being allowed into a country or at least more co-operation between police forces when it comes to the movement of criminals between nations.

Its the same over here , mindless yobs roaming the streets abusing all and sundry, street crime gone through the roof ,unacceptable behaviors now the norm and life taken without thought if you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time

A number of factors have caused this not least of which is the way some of the respected institutions, which previously would have been the pillars of society and holding the moral high ground,have been shown to be acting in a disgraceful manner;

police….involved in blackmail , forging confessions etc.

The Catholic church..child sexual abuse and cover ups of same..

Politicians ….fraud, backhanders, abuse of power etc etc etc.

With all these things becoming evident over the last few years and with some people having more money now than ever before is it any wonder that morals and/or doing the right thing have gone out the window? and those without are even more bitter and angry.

TV and the rest of the media have a lot to answer for by their purveyance of some utter tripe and the way same is used to almost brain wash the gullible , but then we all have a certain responsibility for what is watched and what is seen to be in demand.
