Be it a dog or a cat they are loyal & true, funny and great company.

I lost my best childhood friend when he was 16 of our years old and i was about 28. I swore that following the heartbreak , never again. Until this psychopathic border collie arrived one night and hid for two days under a wheelbarrow. He has been with me now for almost 11 years and still acts like he was 2 !!! Like his predecessor he has saved the house from the bad guys a few times !

You have my sincere sympathy and understanding. Try to remember the good times and dont be afraid to shed the odd tear or ten!

TV is a very influential media, and what youngsters see on TV, can have a harmful effect on them. I happened to see a bit of TV some time ago, and was disgusted by the swearing on a particular program. It seems the F word is commonly used now, and I found that quite shocking. Fortunately, I don’t watch TV anymore, as most of it is dross viewing.
Where have all the heroes gone, they have been replaced by a Yobbish culture.
I guess evolutionary changes in society, will always happen, but why do they have to be bad ones.
What TV needs, is for censorship to be brought back, to stop this free for all, anything goes. Of course if that were to happen, there wouldn’t be much left to watch. :rolleyes:

Just saw the last few mins of a real “yeeee hawwww” movie called Black thunder on movies4men..Sky sat channel 325..Why do the baddies always fly either F-5’s or F-16’s??

and there in the background sat a poor woe begotten AW Argosy still in RAF transport command colours…plenty of other stuff but didnt get a chance to pick out much else….

Went well with the earlier short film of a WW2 graveyard with loads of Luftwaffe stuff .Saw at least one JU 52..

i have read through your posting to the best of my ability and have given it as much time as poss but i cant see an answer to some of the points i made.

Why is Isreal the only nation ” entitled” to a nuke deterant? They have the US to back them up in the event of an all out attack from any of their neighbours.The US has blindly supported Isreal for many decades now and wont even allow the UN to take them to task!!!

do you beleive that it is a good idea to have nukes in the hands of the nutcase fundamentalists who frequently hold sway over the Isreali Government?

and why doesnt the US go into Isreal at the same time that they are talking about taking out Iran? double standards or what? Economic sanctions wont affect an Isreal that is effectively an undeclared 53rd American state.
